Friday Dog Blogging: Telling the boys about the move

Sarahspace: Boys we are moving to a new house this weekend. The new house is much nicer but the yard is not as big, but there is a huge park right next door for you to play.

Pasha: I don’t want to move. I like it here.

Truck: I’m ready; let’s go. I hate this dump.

Sarahspace: There won’t be a fence at the new house for a couple of weeks, so I will need you to be extra good.

Truck: Bitch, move! I want to go. NOW!

Pasha: What about Boots (neighbor dog)?

Truck: I fucking hate Boots.

Sarahspace: Boots is going to stay here, but I am sure you will make new friends.

Truck: Get your keys and let go.

Sarahspace: Truck if you don’t stop being such a wicked wee beastie, momma will be forced to sell you to gypsies.

The Dresser

About 4 years ago I bought a long dresser that I sat next to my bed. I used to use the top drawer as junk drawer where I stored pens, lotions, cookies, etc. One night in the middle of the night I leaned over to get something or the other and I thought I saw a bug. Thinking back on it, it did not move or anything, so I am not sure why I thought it was a bug. Anyway, I have not touched anything in the dresser since. I scooted into another room and forgot about it. Well now that I am moving I have to deal with the dresser. I am frightened. I will report back on this.

Update on my drama

I am packing up all my belongings all myself, because I do not like people going through my stuff unless they are strangers.

My last week of work is crazy with things breaking and such.

My kitchen sink is still broken.

My parents are coming this weekend and I hate it when they visit. They complain that my house is filthy and my dogs are monsters.

Friday Dog Blogging

I took about 40 pictures of Pasha and the only one that turned out is the one where he is just about to fall asleep. He never stops moving.

Notice how handsome he is in his patriotic scarf.

More Doggie Adventures

Doggie Adventures
The boys went to the dog farm this weekend to be bathed and have a little vacation. The dog farm has expanded from 5 acres to 17 acres and they have more animals for the boys to interact with. Pasha really enjoyed the horses and chickens and spent most of his time following a wolf dog around. Truck spent the weekend trying to eat a goat. They told me Truck spent so much energy trying to get a goat that he passed out. I know they had a good time, because they did not want to leave and they both fell asleep in the car on the ride home.

Question?

Can some explain to me how it was possible to build the Transcontinental Railroad (1777 miles) in 5 years without power tools and heavy machinery and why it will take 10 years to expand 2 miles of Westport road by 2 lanes?

I did it. I really did it.

I cut my hair. 10-inches gone. I can’t stop crying. Not just because I look a little too much like Judith Miller, but because I had this stupid fantasy about my hair. You see I did not want to cut my hair until after I got married. I know it is stupid, but I can’t help it. Cutting my hair is me acknowledging the chances of me ever getting married are very small indeed. I am a spinster. I have reached the point where I have given up all my girlish dreams of love. Who needs love when there is Truck and Jack Daniels?

Whore

Tom (my fictitious boyfriend) and I went to see Batman Begin this weekend and all I could think about when Katie Holmes was on screen was that she sold herself to that creepy Tom Cruise.

More proof Tom Cruise is not right: “Sex is great, if you are in a relationship. Otherwise, I find sex actually not so interesting. Without a relationship it is confusing.” No, Tom (Cruise) (I would not want to get him confused with my new boyfriend). Sex in a relationship is confusing. You have to be all concerned about the other person when you are in a relationship, or so I have heard.

Jealously

I am not very jealous my nature, but am given to bouts of insanity that I believe to be brought on by changes in the Earth’s magnetic energy. For the sake of this discussion, lets pretend I have a boyfriend named Tom, any resemblance Tom has to any boyfriend I have had in the past or may have currently is purely coincidental. If Tom would have sexual contact with a woman other than myself this in itself would not cause me become jealous. However, here are a few factors that would cause me to become insane with jealousy.

  • If the other woman was younger or older than me by more than 2 years.

  • If the other woman was more or less attractive than me by a factor of 1 point on a 1 to 10 scale.

  • If the other woman weighed 10 pounds more or less than me.

  • If Tom took the woman to dinner, a movie or any other date type activity.

  • If Tom had not provided me with the necessary quantity of attention, prior to the encounter.

Isn’t Tom a lucky guy?
