New Babies

My cousin’s wife had the baby. I saw it this weekend. I was torn between staring at it in disgust and wanting to take it run away to foreign lands. I just wish everyone would stop talking about the damn thing. No, I don’t fucking want to hold it and stop sending me goddamn pictures.

Oi, I feel your pain. My boss just had a baby, and she brings it in everyday. Since its my boss, I have to pretend its the cutest thing ever, even though I know it has no chance in life since both its parents are stout and hairy.

I got asked to change a friends baby...like I would enjoy it! No, I don't want to change it's diaper...are you kidding? Change your kids diaper? Why don't I just wipe everbodies asses in your family while I'm at it?

Great piece...preach it!!

Respect! I hate people bringing their babies in to the office. The boss bought in pictures of her grandson which were duly admired. "I expect it makes you broody" she said.

"No, not at all" I said without thinking.

"Wow, that's so odd! It's so strange to hear that a woman isn't broody. That's everything being a woman is about".

"Oh my god, do you really think that? My life is not just about breeding, thank you very much."

Growl...!

Babies themselves aren't so bad, it's the parents who foist them on everyone. The poor kids probably just want some peace, quiet, and warm milk, but no one asks them. And unfortunately it's a need they can only articulate by wailing. I'll have to try that next time my boss comes 'round.

I'm fine with kids, as long as the parents will listen to my cat & dog stories with equal interest. ;-)

I agree with Sarahbell. The parents should be hit with cattle prods and the babies should be given a condolence card for having such degenerate parents

I found your blog on figpaste, and I have laughed and laughed all the way through it, particularly at this post.

I'll be back.
